One of the greatest challenges facing Maori students’ participation in education concerns the restoration and experience of cultural pride and academic efficacy in their lives.

This presentation will focus on the ways school can increase Maori student wellbeing, motivationand academic engagement bu utilising strngth-based approaches and diverse Maori role models.
